No more plastic bottles!

I've been reflecting on the sheer number of plastic bottles I've been buying to ensure my family has access to clean drinking water. It's disheartening to think about the state of the tap water in London, filled with harsh chemicals and fluoride to make it safe for consumption. Water, which should be pure and refreshing, is subjected to a journey through grimy pipes and treatment processes before reaching our glasses.

And then there's the environmental impact of all those plastic bottles. They travel long distances, sit on shelves for who knows how long, and contribute to the ever-growing problem of plastic pollution. Not to mention, the plastic itself can leach harmful chemicals into the water we're trying to keep clean.

It's a concerning cycle, but I refuse to accept it as the only option. Recently, I stumbled upon a book I had purchased a long time ago in Italy, "The Hidden Messages in Water" by Masaru Emoto. It delves into the concept of water having its own consciousness and how it responds to different stimuli. It's a reminder that water is more than just a substance; it's a living entity that can be influenced by our thoughts and intentions. Emoto also proposes that positive thoughts and emotions produce beautiful, symmetrical crystals, while negative thoughts result in disordered, asymmetrical formations.

Inspired by this revelation, I'm determined to find a better solution for my family's water needs. Whether it's investing in a ionization system, seeking out local sources of clean water, or exploring alternative packaging options, I'm committed to reducing our reliance on plastic bottles and ensuring that the water we drink is not only safe but also treated with the respect it deserves.

So, watch this space. I'm on a mission to make a positive change for the health of my family and the planet. And if you're feeling the same way, I encourage you to join me in this journey toward a more sustainable future. Together, we can make a difference—one sip at a time.

This is a very interesting topic! I'm currently exploring methods to reduce my consumption of plastic bottles. In Italy, where I am from, they employ a fantastic system where glass bottles are delivered to your doorstep. Once you've finished with them, they're collected and reused. Additionally, there are plentiful water fountains or dispensers available. I find it a lot simpler to adopt eco-friendly practices there compared to the UK, where I live now.
